Immuni is an app developed by the Italian government in order to stop new outbreaks of the Coronavirus in this country. Using the Bluetooth technology, which is already being used in other countries such as Singapore, Switzerland, France, and Australia, your smartphone warns you if you're in contact with a COVID-19 positive.

Immuni's interface is quite simple and using this tool is completely voluntary. In any case, as with SwissCovid, StopCovid, or TraceTogether, the more people use the app, the greater the prevention scope it offers. Plus, identities are kept completely anonymous so that no one can find out private information about the carriers of the disease or those who may be infected.

Immuni uses Low Energy Bluetooth technology to determine your location. If you stand next to a carrier of the virus for a few minutes, a notification is sent to you after a certain amount of time, informing you that you may have contracted the disease. In any case, the process does not collect or store data that is not strictly necessary. And, the geolocation parameters that may diminish your privacy are never linked.
